Don M. Sowers is Of Counsel to the firm. Don joined the firm in 2006,
coinciding with his twentieth year in the practice of law. His

Don began his legal practice defending personal injury matters, ultimately

and families damaged and greatly affected by those persons and
entities he at one time defended. Don has obtained significant settlements
including multimillion dollar settlements in Cook, Lake, McHenry, Will
and Winnebago
Counties. He also obtained numerous million dollar verdicts in Cook and
Sycamore Counties including
several cases where the defendant's insurance company refused to offer
any amount whatsoever to
attempt to settle the case.
Born and raised in the Chicago area, after college, Don returned
to the area to
attend
law school. While Don is extremely dedicated to his clients, he and his
wife Cathie also manage
to make family life with their four sons and one daughter a priority.
Don has coached youth hockey and
baseball for numerous years while Cathie is quite active in school activities.
Don has also published numerous articles in legal journals such as the
Chicago Bar Journal and publications distributed by the Illinois State
Bar Association. He is a member of the American and Illinois Trial Lawyers
Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
Don's greatest assets are his courtroom skills where he is a tenacious
advocate for the firm's clients. He believes that integrity, compassion
and justice are of utmost importance and implements those principles
into his practice on a daily basis.
