Painter Falls To His Death From Unsafe Scaffold/Planking 
Mr. Kelly successfully negotiated a $2.2 million settlement on behalf of the widow of a painter who was working on and fell from unstable and unguarded planking set up over a stairwell at a Chicago Public School.  Our firm alleged negligence on the part of the defendant general contractor for failing to provide necessary and proper safety equipment including secure scaffolding and a harness, equipment which would have saved this young man’s life.
