Failure to Diagnose Glaucoma in Young Woman 
Mr. Kelly secured a $2.45 million settlement on behalf of a young girl who slowly lost her eye-sight and ultimately went blind as a result of the alleged negligent failure of her optometrist to diagnose her glaucoma and refer her for further care.  Our firm’s efforts revealed that the optometrist should have diagnosed the glaucoma months before he did and that had he done so this young girl would not have suffered complete vision loss.
