Mr. Sowers obtained a $1,262,748 verdict after a seven day trial against a defendant urologist for his failure to adequately treat the client’s fistula which formed following a prostatectomy. The client succumbed to complications of the fistula and passed away a little over one year after the initial surgery. The defendant made no offer to settle the case prior to trial.
