Young Woman Fractures Hip & Wrist in Fall Escaping Fire
Mr. Kelly reached a $675,000 settlement on behalf of a woman who fell from a second story window attempting to escape from fire started in hallway outside her apartment.  The fire in the building was started by teenage acquaintances of a fellow building tenant.  After discovering the lack of locks on the building entrance, our attorneys successfully advanced a theory that the building owner was negligent in failing to provide locks or adequate security to the building allowing arsonist access to building.
