Little Girl Sustained Burns to Leg From Hot Charcoals
Mr. Kelly negotiated a $170,000 settlement on behalf of a little girl who was burned by hot charcoals that had been dumped from a grill in a picnic area at a local amusement park. Our firm developed and advanced a theory that the defendant amusement park was negligent in failing to provide safe means to dispose of used, and often extremely hot, charcoals within the picnic area despite their knowledge that dozens, if not hundreds, of children were routinely present in the area.
