Defective Mini-Blind Causes Strangulation of Baby Boy 
Mr. Kelly negotiated a $900,000 settlement on behalf of the family of a 15-month-old baby boy who suffered a strangulation death when the inner-cord of a mini-blind unraveled and formed a noose.  Our firm sued one of the largest retail stores in the world and an international mini-blind manufacturer alleging that the mini-blind at issues were defective, unreasonably dangerous, and lacked necessary and appropriate warnings to advise purchasers of this hidden danger known to both defendants.
